I had recently decided that instead of paying someone to take my kids' pictures that I would invest the money into a good camera and try it myself. My kids' cooperated perfectly and I got some good shots. Here are a few of my favorites. Ethan is 9 months old and Kaylin is 2 1/2 in these pictures (they were taken about a month ago already). I hope you enjoy!
PS there are more of Ethan than Kaylin..... he cooperated a little better.

There really isn't too much to update on. Kaylin is quite the active little girl, she keeps me on my toes, and she is pretty sure she is the boss of the house. Ethan continues to grow and change and discover new things. He is attempting to crawl, which proves to be a task for him since we have laminate flooring. He has figured out how to scoot forward on his tummy, scoot backwards and his tummy or butt, or in circles. He pulled himself up in the bath tub last week, and will pull himself up on me or Chad when we are sitting by him. He is quite the chatterbox these days and he is such a happy boy, always smiling. He loves to cuddle and get held. I signed Kaylin up to take dance class in the fall, she is so excited. We have gotten to spend a lot of time outside, with the temps ranging from 68-88. My children are the light of my life and I love watching them make all the new discoveries and grow and change.

Easter

We had a very good Easter. The Easter bunny was very good to the kids and they both enjoyed seeing what was in their Easter baskets. After going through the Easter baskets, we got ready and headed to my sister Jeannine's for Easter lunch. After lunch we did the Easter egg hunt, my dad put out over 1800 eggs this year! Ethan enjoyed playing with the eggs, Kaylin did fairly well
with the help of my sister Julie. After the Easter egg hunt, Kaylin enjoyed jumping on the trampoline with Drew and Emma. After we left Jeannine and Darin's; Kim and Bubba joined us at our house for supper and to watch Kaylin do the Easter egg hunt in our backyard. It was a great day!
