5 months old

Kaylin is now 5 months old. I can not believe how fast time has gone and how big she has gotten. She now laughs out loud, which she was doing in this picture. She loves when I sing, so you know she must love me!!!! She is also really interested in faces. She is constantly touching my face and she really pays attention when I talk and tries to imitate the movements with her mouth. She is really a HAPPY baby!

Kaylin's First Easter

Kaylin had a good first easter. The Easter Bunny brought her a stuffed rabbit. We then went to Jeannine and Darin's, where we ate brunch and the kids did the Easter egg hunt. I did it for Kaylin. She got 8 eggs and $1 for those eggs.

FLORIDA!!!!!!!!!!!!

March 12-19 my entire family (except Amy and Emma ): went to Florida for my cousin Diane's wedding. A lot of family that we hadn't seen in a while was there. We had great weather except for Friday and we had a lot of fun in the sun. It was so disappointing to come back to this Iowa weather.

Thursday, March 13

On Thursday Chad, Kaylin, Jeannine, Darin, Brittany, Courtney, Dawson, Lindsey, Zach and I all went to the beach to meet up with Jim, Laurie, Kim, Michael, and some cousins. Kaylin did not like the beach at all. After the beach we walked back to Kim and Michael's hotel and went swimming, which Kaylin loved.

Friday, March 14

Friday the family that drove arrived. It was a really crappy and rainy day, but it was the only bad day we had.

The morning of the wedding we spent in our room at the Marriot because I did hair. Kaylin was enjoying playing on the beds.

The wedding was very nice and Kaylin did a GREAT job. She slept through most of the ceremony and through the reception.

Lowry Park Zoo (Sunday, March 16)

Sunday morning we went to the Lowry Park Zoo. It was a really nice zoo, but we had to miss 2 exhibits because Kaylin was getting hot and tired and we had no stroller.

Sunday, March 16. Happy Birthday Kim!!!!

Sunday afternoon we went to Aunt Jeannine's for a party so all the realtives could visit. It was also my neice Kim's birthday!!!!

Our Last Full Day

Our last day in Florida, we spent at the beach. It was about 85 degrees and sunny. Afterwards Kaylin went back to the hotel with Aunt Jolene and Chad and I went on the pirate ship with about 16 members of the family. It was a great day and we didn't want to leave.

Courtney's Birthday Party

We had Courtney's birthday party at Geno's on Sunday night. Kaylin was so tired, but of course would not fall asleep because she is too nosey (wonder where she gets that)!

Happy Birthday Courtney!!!

Saturday was Courtney's 11th Birthday. She had a b-ball tournament in Maquoketa, so we went to her game at 5:15 and then to Happy Joes. When we got home from Happy Joes, Kaylin laughed out loud for the first time when Chad was doing "peek-a-boo" with her. She would jump and then laugh. It was so adorable!!!!!

Friday night we went to Red Lobster for Steven's birthday. We went with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Julie, Uncle Craig, Steven (of course), Alishia and Jenna. Kaylin did really good.
