Kaylin's First Christmas

Christmas morning Kaylin opened gifts with Mommy and Daddy. She must have been a good girl these last two months, because Santa brought her a lot of presents. After that we got ready and went to Great-Uncle Gary and Great-Aunt Aja Hentze's house. Then we headed off to the Sparks Christmas. Kaylin received a TON of presents from everyone. I think we may need to buy a new house to fit it all. Kaylin was really good on Christmas and enjoyed being held the whole time (she is not spoiled at all). Kaylin had a very good first Christmas!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we celebrated with Grandma and Grandpa Sparks, Grandma Hentze, and Uncle Matt. Grandpa Hentze was ill and in the hospital, so unfortunantely could not come. We had dinner and then opened gifts.



Kaylin also turned 2 months old Christmas Eve, so here is her 2 month picture.

We had our Christmas with our friends Kim and Bubba Friday night. We had dinner, and then went to the Symphony of Lights. We then came back to Kim and Bubba's and opened gifts. Kaylin received some toys and a Lullaby book.

7 Weeks Old

Here are a couple of pictures of Kaylin. I did my best to get her smiling, but my camera has such a long delay that I only caught the end of the smiles. I can't believe that she is 7 weeks old already. Time is flying by. I cherish every minute I get with her.

Grandpa's Christmas Party

Saturday, December 8, we had Grandpa Sparks' annual childrens Christmas party at the movie theater. We saw the movie Fred Claus. Kaylin slept through the whole thing.

6 Weeks Old

Kaylin is 6 weeks old now. She is now smiling when you talk to her. Her favorite game is to wake me up at 4 am and when I take her to change her diaper, she just looks up at me and smiles. I don't think this child will ever know what a blessing she really is.

I can't believe a month has passed, it has gone by so fast and she has gotten so big. The day of her "one month birthday" she met our cousin Danny from Chicago and threw up on him the minute he picked her up. We went and ate at Texas Roadhouse later that night and she cried the entire time. She was a hit though, the manager came over and asked to hold her.

First Thanksgiving

Kaylin had her first Thanksgivng at Uncle Joe and Aunt Kelly's house. She pretty much slept the entire time and really enjoyed being held the whole time.

Baby Shower

We had our baby shower on Sunday in Goose Lake. We had a really nice turn out and Kaylin received a lot of really nice gifts.

Meeting Ashley

Kaylin and Ashley FINALLY met for the first time on Friday.

Kaylin had her 3 week check-up today. She now weighs 8 lbs. 6 oz. and is 21 1/4" long. The doctor said she is very healthy.
