7 Months

Kaylin is already 7 months old. I know I say this every month, but I can't believe how fast time is flying. It seems like only yesterday that she was born. She had her 7 month checkup yesterday and shots ): She weighs 15 lbs. 6 oz and is 26 1/2". She is very active and never sits still. She is very nosey. She is sitting up on her own and FINALLY rolled from her back to her belly. She is almost always happy and only cries when she is tired or hungry. She is such a joy and brings so many people happiness.

Update

My dad got home from the hospital and is doing very well. He says he is feeling good and he seems to be in good spirits. Here are a few pictures from times we have gone to visit.

Updates

Sorry I have not updated in a while, we have been very busy. May 9th we attended my cousins wedding reception. It was a sports theme, so we all wore our favorite sports attire. I had my first Mother's Day with Kaylin. We spent the afternoon at my mom and dad's to celebrate with all the moms in the family. May 14, my dad had surgery to remove stomach cancer that they thought was contained. This is his 3rd battle with cancer. The surgeon opened him up and found that the cancer has spread and was not contained as they originally thought. My dad will meet with his oncologist next week to find out his chemotherapy options. Kaylin was at the hospital the day of the surgery. We were there from about 10 am to 10 pm and she did wonderful. She brought a smile to everyones face after such devestating news. She went up to the hospital to see her Grandpa almost everyday and really wanted to get her hands on his NG tube that was in his nose. We of course as a family will stick together and of course we will continue to hope and pray for a miracle. My dad has beat the odds before, so who says he won't do it again.

6 months old

Kaylin is now 6 months old. It seems like only yesterday that she was born and a 1/2 of a year has already flown by. She is quite the character. She has figured out how to scream at the top of her lungs, and gets quite a kick out of herself doing it. She has become quite good friends with the dogs and they do really good with her. She just keeps getting bigger everyday and discovering new things all the time. She keeps us busy and keeps us laughing.
